I can not be heard on skype

I can hear them but they can't hear me at the other end? please advise also I have problems uploading new software
it says partially loaded don't understand please help

I've noticed that that can be caused when Skype is set to adjust the microphone volume automatically. Have you tried unticking that box in the sound preferences and setting the level yourself?

Since your second question is unrelated to not being heard on Skype, you should ask it separately. You're more likely to get a useful answer when you ask questions individually with relevant titles.
