how to instal other programs not in ubuntu package?

I can not instal programs in ubuntu platform such as DVD software,ETR.net software,Mtuha software which i use to enter data

Hi!

From my google research these software i think are mission critical for you and they are designed for windows,so you should probably not install then in Ubuntu.(you can try if you want just go to software center and search for WINE and install it) and for DVD playback and other necessary goodies install ubuntu-restricted-extras from software center.
