how do I add a line to my software sources

Asked by Phil Ellis

I have asked for a copy of the free magazine "Full Circle" and downloaded it from the software centre, however I cannot find it anywhere on my system. I received a confirmation email and checked the technical info link where I read that I must add the following line to my systems software sources:

deb https://***personal details deleted****@private-ppa.launchpad.net/commercial-ppa-uploaders/fullcircle-issue-59/ubuntu precise main

How do I do this? Where is that located?
Sorry if this is a blindingly obvious question, but I am clueless here.

Update:

I realise now that the software centre has already added that line to my system /etc/apt/sources.
What I needed to do was go back to the software centre and complete the download.

Problem solved.
