I found this documentation: http://wiki.laptop.org/go/User:Ndoiron/SocialCalc

Its seems like no matter what I do the range of numbers to graph is not set.

Hi, I hope I can help.

While you are looking at the Edit tab / spreadsheet, click the first number in the right column, then hold the mouse button down and scroll downward to select all of the numbers. This should look like the first screenshot in the Bar Charts section.

Then click the Graph tab and select a Graph Type from the drop-down menu in the top section. The colors are random so you can click OK (to the right of the Graph Type menu) to get different colors.

^^ Correction to above message, you have to click OK for the graph to be made

I got a graph!

But I had some problems, I think there is a bug/bad UI when you first click Graph. Here was my experience.
