Record doesn't work on Strawberry through Macs running VM

I am using Strawberry.vdi on macs and it does not find the camera.

I've done this on the GPA Macbooks and my imac. Same results.

Its Record 64.

The issue is Virtual Box. I think it works when you boot off the sticks but not with Virtual Box. We don't yet know if its possible to make it work with VMWare.

I've briefly looked at the Record source code repository, and noted that
the version you are running is the latest tagged there.

Can you supply logs of what Record reports when it fails to find the
camera? I'd tell you how to obtain those logs, but I don't know offhand
and I'd have to research it ... and I think you may already know how.
If not, running it from a Terminal may give useful output on the
terminal.

What exactly does "does not find the camera" mean? Do you mean that it
only offers audio recording?

Yes it offers only video. Will work on getting logs, hopefully opening log there will be a record video one.

I imagine the problem is its not recognizing the camera.
