On creating a soas on 4G key, with 3G for personnal usage (with Fedora tool for windows), my journal is satured after some hours ...
I have only 428 MB free on the first boot without actions ???
So my soas is un-usable after some hours :( (no memory left).

Hi,
I'm a little surprised to hear that your journal is filled up after a few hours. If you dedicate 3 GB of your 4 GB USB key to personal (non-SoaS) usage, it's understandable that you're left with something around 500 MB, though. Sugar on a Stick contains an entire Linux operating system together with the Sugar environment on top of it. So out of this remaining 1 GB, the base system consumes something between 400 and 600 MB, which leaves you with those 428 MB of storage for the journal.
Unless you're doing heavy downloads or something else, your journal shouldn't fill up that quickly, though. At least since I'm not aware of such heavy-hard-
I'd recommend to increase the overlay's size when creating the USB key, though.

I had a similar problem when I created an SoaS on a 1-Gb flash drive. I automatically updated the existing activities and downloaded some more, as well as some PDF ebooks. Apparently, the overlay filled up and then became corrupted, rendering the stick unbootable. It is possible to create a non-compressed USB SoaS that will know when it runs out of space. Rapidoo, what size overlay did you create on the 4GB key?

Correction: Instead of bug 508625, see Bug #498390: SoaS blueberry stick becomes corrupted, refuses to boot with "tried to remove a fb that we didn't own" (https:/
Can you help with this problem?
Provide an answer of your own, or ask rapidoo for more information if necessary.
