Slingshot doesn't work after last update on Elementary OS

After last update Slingshot-launcher doesn't work.
I'm on Elementary OS, I installed this OS freshly just after Freya was released and works fine til yesterday.
I don't know what happened :(

I tried to remove (with purge) and reinstall, but the problem is still here.

If I try to type "sudo slingshot-launcher" in the Terminal:

What happened?
What can I do to solve?

I had a similar problem, clicking the 'Applications' button didn't do anything for me.

I'm really a noob to these things, but I managed to fix mine by just running 'killall slingshot-launcher'. It worked fine after that.

Thanx for the try, but it doen't work for me :(

I think I must reinstall the system.
It's a kind of meh, 'cause the os and apps were a charm and well personalizated...
but, hey, it happens :)
