Customize slingshot

Hi there,
I would like to know if Slingshot can be customize easely. For example, is it possible to remove the category "All". Or change the category showed by defalut.

Hi :) I think you're using a very old version, the "All" category was dropped quite some time ago. There exists no default category because Slingshot shows the last used and ATM this isn't configurable.

There are only a few options ATM and they're not for normal users, they're for tweakers only who know they can mess a bit up. If you still wanna try to customize Slingshot, install dconf-editor and go to /org/pantheon/desktop/slingshot and you'll find the options ;)

Hi,
thank you for your answer.

I'm actually using the 0.8.1p-4 version (installed by adding the ppa:elementaryart/elementary-dev repository)

I'm trying to compile the bz rbranch but I have some trouble/errors. May I ask a question for my troubles or you have another way to do it?

Uhm... I'm not sure that's the right PPA, but I don't know, I'll ask and let you know ;)

ok great, I have use the daily PPA of the INSTALL file and I now have a recent version :)
