Xerox PE16 - Printer works, Scanner no

Asked by cypress

I have a Xerox PE16 Multifunction USB device. It is Twain compliant. It prints fine on ArchLinux. Simple Scan returns the error "No scanners detected".
I ran sane find scanner and it didn't find it.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
