Simple Scan

Simple scan does not work with hp scanjet 4600

Simple scan does not see my scanner. HP scanjet 4600

I have tried everything that I know of. Ubuntu does detect my scanner but Simple scan doesn't! A little help would be appreciated... I am fairly new at working with Ubuntu.
