Simple Scan

Scanner will not do "letter" page size

I am using Simple Scan with and HP All-in-One 6500 and Linux Mint 13. All of my scan pages come out with legal size even though I have the preferences set to letter.

You might try asking your question on AskUbuntu.com. Questions posted here are about creating the Ubuntu Manual.

A potential workaround would be to crop the page after it's been scanned. Select Page > Crop > Letter, and then drag the selection to cover the area you wish to keep.
