Simple Scan

scan from command line

is it possible to use simple-scan in order to scan from command line ?
if not, could someone please help me with a tip ? ... :)

I am not aware of any command line interface for Simple Scan. For other scanning interfaces see: http://www.sane-project.org/sane-frontends.html
