New version (implementation of the App class) of SikuliX when it will be available

Hi RaiMan,

I am waiting for the new version of SikuliX version which contains a new implementation of the App class.

I have seen your reply in the below ticket

after that I could not get any info.

Please let us know if you have any plan to release or not.

PS: Background: I am trying to use in Ubuntu24.04 OS, Sikulix 2.0.5 & Java 17. With this i am facing App class issue.

SikuliX 2.0.5 has compatibility issues with Java 17 and Ubuntu 24.04, especially with the App class. Although a new implementation was mentioned in a previous Launchpad ticket, no updates or release dates have been shared since. For now, using Java 8 or 11 may help avoid the issue on https://stylo.pk/ until a new version is released.

Sorry, but due to private reasons, I have paused the development.
May be restarting later this year.
