Does highlight() box affect / corrupt an image search?

Read the docs, I only saw information on clicks and mouse hover. I didn't see if the highlight will cause an image search to fail if it is over the image being searched for?

To search something, that is in a region currently highlighted, the highlight must first be switched off, because the highlight changes the pixel content of that region.
