Ubuntu installation

Asked by diego

The guide says to go and download the JDK from Oracle. It says to copy and paste jdk1x folder into your home folder. I downloaded the .deb file and installed via sudo apt-get install. Would that work?

I got further and this is what happened when running xfce4 and not Gnome:

I got this after doing "java -jar sikulix.jar -v" on Ubuntu using xfce4 as desktop. I am using a VNC to connect to a remote machine.

Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":1.0".
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: The BROWSE action is not supported on the current platform!

Java version:
openjdk version "11.0.5" 2019-10-15
