terminating: no valid Java context for SikuliX available

Asked by Joe Latter

I am running Java 12

I get this error:
terminating: no valid Java context for SikuliX available

when running this code:
import org.sikuli.basics.SikulixForJython

I did a sys.path.append call to the path of the sikulixapi.jar file. However, the error persists.
