Unable to use the in-built functions of SikuliX JAR in MAVEN

Asked by Ramakrishnan on 2019-05-10

I have configured the SikuliX JARs in MAVEN project. But I am not able to use the in-built functions of the JARs.

"Cannot instantiate the type Screen" - is the message I received. Any help would be appreciated.

more details needed what exactly you are doing/trying.

what version, what system, what Java, which IDE?

I would need to automate a citrix application. I would need the methods associated with the JARs.

I am performing test automation using Sikuli.
Below are the steps:

1. Login to citrix webpage.
2. Launch citrix applications.
3. Perform navigations inside the citrix application.
4. Logout of citrix.

The problem I am facing is I have to select options from the Menu items. Run->Samples is the navigation in the citrix window. While I am able to capture 'Run' option, 'Samples' option couldn't be recorded using Sikuli. The reason being 'Samples' will be displayed after the 'Run' menu is expanded.

Please help on this.

Try to Use keyboard actions to select the menu and its entries.

or:

While the SikuliX IDE is open, you can arrange a GUI situation and then use the capture hotkey (see Preferences), to capture for example a menu item, that otherwise with the normal capture button would disappear before you have a chance.

Can you help with this problem?
