Unable to type in Windows file browser dialog

Windows file browser dialog window is opened when button is clicked, but unable to type() text into it.

[error] StandardError ( (StandardError) java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid key code )

I see, but in this case field is already in focus, don't needed to be clicked.

type(item)

Variable item contains full path to a folder.
