How to select the whole line text? --- see bug 894312

Hello Raiman
I want to select the whole line text by using type(Key.HOME, Key.SHIFT) after I click to the end of this line, but after it run, only cursor position move to the start of line but text can't be selected, could you tell me how to complete it?
