Sikuli vs. SQL DB

Dear Dev's ,

Im new at Sikuli and also new at python. I'm facing problem with connection to DB, how can I connect to the DB server and select data from there. In example, I need to select serial number for going threw the proccess of my software and then automaticcaly select new a do it again until there is no serial number left. How can I do it easily. If you can send me some turorial or instructions,I will appreciate it.

very ambitious for a beginner in Python (in SikuliX interpreted by Jython) ;-)
