Is it possible to play games ?

Asked by Yogesh Gawankar on 2017-09-30

can we use sikuli to play online chess/card games using a locally installed program.

e.g say i want to play chess using my chess program. can sikuli read the real time board and enable communication between the two programs?

even better can we read the board , store it in the form of variables, do some processing before entering it into our chess program and vice versa?

based on a famous word of J.F. Kennedy:
Do not ask, what SikuliX can do for you, but what you can do to meat your challenge ;-)

Yes this is of course possible.

... but it is your responsibility, to make a solution concept and turn it into Python scripts.

To get on the road, simply track down the steps, that you would take, to make it manually.

Be aware: The main features of SikuliX act visually on what you see on the screen and let you do some mouse and keyboard input.

Look at some examples in the net and read through the docs (http://sikulix.com).

Can you help with this problem?
