Asked by deepti kakkar on 2017-06-29

Hi,

I am very new to Sikuli, been trying to install on my computer but unfortunately can't.
I have Windows 7 64 bit machine. I have installed java version 1.8.0_131
java (TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_131-b11)
java HotSpot (TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.131-b11, mixed mode)

I am trying install sikulixsetup-1.1.1.jar
and on setup getting:

Package 1 - null (IDE/Scripting)
null (Java API)

and eventually it fails and not download.. can you please help...

RaiMan (raimund-hocke) said : #7

as mentioned in the docs from comment #3:
put the setup-jar and the downloaded jars (ide, api, libs, python) in the same folder (C:\Sikulix in your case).
Take care, that nothing else is in that folder.

... and run (double-click) setup-jar

deepti kakkar (deepti.kakkar) said : #8

It has created a new file: sikulix.jar.. is it correct???

deepti kakkar (deepti.kakkar) said : #9

when I am double clicking on sikulix.jar.. its not doing anything...

deepti kakkar (deepti.kakkar) said : #10
