Sikuli running on a Virtual Machine (VM)

Asked by Karan Juneja on 2016-12-27

Hi,

I am currently running a script on Sikuli on a Virtual Machine(VM). Problem I am facing is that whenever I minimize my VM, the script breaks.

Is there a way such that the script still runs on VM even if its is minimized?

Is there a setting inbuilt in Sikuli when can help my model from breaking?

Thanks
Karan

There is a similar question, if you are using Windows machine.

What are you using to run the Virtual Machine? Do you have options?

if nothing else works, a workaround i found is to have a short wait in the beginning of the script, move the mouse out and minimize it.

say you move your mouse out of the vm window at (420,0). on the vm machine it just assumes nothing happened, and when the wait is over, it will continue even minimized.

Can you help with this problem?
