Is there any Record and playback option available in the Sikulix Ide while executing the scripts?

The originators of Sikuli (Chang, Yeh and Miller) in GUI Testing Using Computer Vision refer to Test-by-Demonstration capability of Sikuli Script. This recorded things including user input and generated assert statements for testing. The user pressed F5 to indicate a region of interest. What happened to that feature? Is it still around somewhere?

Yes, they talked about that in the papers and in the first version there were some rudimentary implementation, that was not further developed later. So it simply died on the way ;-)

I plan to have features with version 2, that allow more interactive development, which goes into this direction.
