can sikuli work invisible?

hello!

can sikuli work in the background?

or do I have to display the windows I automate, in my screen?

I would like it to do its stuff without having to bring the window it works on into focus

is that possible?

No, this is impossible.
Sikuli operates by locating visual patterns on the screen. If these patterns won't physically appear on the screen, they will not be detected.
