OSX 10.10: How to open .sikuli?

Asked by sgfit

I have my .sikuli folders stored in ~/Documents/Sikuli. However, in OSX, the Open dialog doesn't allow me to open any folders: clicking, double-clicking, and hitting 'enter' once the ~/Documents folder is selected all result in no change. I can only choose ~, "Users", and "Macintosh HD". Upon selecting "Users" or "Macintosh HD", the prior options are not selectable, and I cannot open folders elsewhere. I can't even navigate into ~/Documents/Sikuli, much less open a .sikuli.

Is there a way to trick the Open File gui into allowing me to navigate through my system's file directory; or alternatively, if the Open File GUI only allows me to select files in ~, is there a command line switch I can use to open three .sikuli files?

Even after doing this, the IDE still cannot open .sikuli files on OSX.

I would provide a screenshot but it seems Launchpad cannot do this...

Already tried with the latest nightly 1.1.1 ?

Using the generated SikuliX.app should work.

Behavior is identical under 1.1.1.

could you send me a screenshot of the open dialog in the IDE at the moment you try to select a .sikuli to
sikulix--at--outlook--dot--com

with the latest 1.1.1 you can delete the .sikuli ending from the folder/bundlename, which should make them available for opening.

What happens, if you try to save a script from the IDE (1.1.1.)?
