Is there a way to wait for two screenshot possibilities?

If you have a long-running process that may give an error message or a success dialog, there doesn't seem to be a way to wait for minutes for both. You can have a wait for several minutes for the error message, then in a try-except block wait for minutes for success message, but that adds needless wait.
Am I missing something in the api that would let us do that?
