cannot install from offline package

Asked by Béla Bakó

Hi! I downloaded the Sukuli-1.0.1-Offline-Setup-IDE-option1.zip package. I unzipped it to my Download folder. I clicked on the 1.0.1-1.jar file. Something happened and I see that a lib folder appears in the Download folder but it's empty and installation process is unsuccessful. Can u help me to resolve this issue?

after you have downloaded/unzipped the offline stuff to the Downloads folder, you have to run setup in the folder containing the Downloads folder.

If you are a new bee to Sikuli or coming from 1.0RC3, I recommend to directly go to 1.1.0:
http://sikulix.com

read carefully!

Sukuli-1.0.1-Offline-Setup-IDE-option1.zip package doesn't contains setup file. It contains only:
1.0.1-1.jar
1.0.1-9.jar
ReadMe-Sukuli-1.0.1-Offline-Setup-IDE-option1.txt files

1.0.1: the setup is the same as with online setup

1.1.0: I cannot see any error.
look and read carefully:
1. http://sikulix.com/quickstart
2. the information on the nightly builds download page

Obviously you have problems accessing the download pages needed in your network (blocked somehow for programmatic download).

So follow the advices on the nightly build page after this:
So you only would need to manually download anything using the below links, if you have problems with setup's inline download.
In this case you have to download the needed files according to the below information and run setup (so called offline setup)

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Béla Bakó for more information if necessary.
