Copy images from one file to another shows the ".png" text instead of the image.

Asked by goldenboy

When I attempt to copy an image from one file to another or
I copy a file containing images, the images are not rendered.
Instead, I get the "png" text name of the image file instead
of the image itself?

Is this a known bug?

Is there a way to correct this?

Hi,

It's hard to say if you don't share your code.

Images or code containing images can only be copied using copy&paste inside the Sikuli IDE.

If you do this outside the IDE:
- copy the code from one .py file to another
- copy the relevant image files from one .sikuli to the other
- take care, that the .py file has the same name as the .sikuli folder in both cases
- in the IDE close and reopen the script that got the pasted content
