How to Disable Package Contents

Asked by UNCCheezy

I don't want my sikuli projects to be executable via finder. Is there a way to switch them back to regular folders so I can browse easier?

Ha, good question.

I had this problem a year ago, when switching to 10.8 (but the other way round: .sikuli was not available, since I did not install the Sikuli mac app before starting my tests with my dev environment in Netbeans).

I know, that there is a way to get rid of this. but first you have to purge the Sikuli app from your system.

Be aware: if you do that now, and succeed, then afterwards you have to start everything from command line or double click sikuli-ide.jar.

So if you really want to do that, come back, before doing it: the IDE can be switched by a setting, to open .sikuli folders as scripts like in Windows.

BTW: it is on the list to generally add this as an option (bundles or folders and be able to dynamically switch between the 2 scenarios).

On the other hand: for version 1.2 a project manager is planned, that would allow, to inspect the project contents in the IDE.

... and in long term, the preferred script container will be a .jar file ;-)

Can you help with this problem?
