Click is not working always on MyPhoneExplorer.

Asked by siva

Hi,

I have tried to automate android game applications [Cut the Rope]. I have installed "MyPhoneExplorer" application in Windows and LG Nexus. I have loaded the LG Nexus screen in windows by the following way [ Taking android remote screen from windows using MyPhoneExploere ]

1. Install the MyPhoneExplorer [from : http://www.fjsoft.at/en/highlight.php ].
2. Connect the LG Nexus Device with USB [File -> Settings -> connect via USB Cable ]
3. Launch MyPhoneExplorer in windows
4. Extras -> Control Phone/Load screenshot -> check refresh automaticlly

Now I have recorded the android screen events.

On replay its not always click the screen. its not throwing any errors as well. Mouse pointer moved to destination but click not worked. While clicking on manually its working. The issue is inconsistent.

Not sure weather the issue is due to Sikuli click event or MyPhoneExplorer.

Please suggest any workaround for click or similar tool to MyPhoneExplorer to take android screen remotely.

Windows 64 bit
Java 1.6.0.45 [ 32 bit ]
MyPhoneExplorer [latest]
LG Nexus android 4.3

Thanks in advance.
Siva

Hi, I have tried with "Run as admin" as well. The issue is inconsistent. [Repro rate : 1/5]. Please suggest MyPhoneExplorer equivalent for android automation.

Is there any build available for android mobile versions ?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, Sikuli is not available for mobile devices out of the box.

Only chance is with the emulators on desktop machines.

For Android there have been some trials with VNC solutions - ask the net via google.

Can you help with this problem?
