How to type a @ Character in the IDE

I try to use type("<email address hidden>") in the IDE on Mac-OS
but it types test"example.com
How get I the @ charcter? is there the possibility to use ascii or unicode codes for that characters?

Use the paste method instead type.
paste("<email address hidden>")
