text() is not extracting correct text

Hi,
I am trying to extract text from a box in my application which contains dates like - 11/05/1969, but Sikuli extracts some weird text from that box like - 11JUSI1 89.

I found many of similar issues and queries in this forum.

Is there any solution currently in new version of Sikuli or its still a bug ?

When using RC3 currently: version 1.0.1 is worth a try - but do not expect too much.

If already on version 1.0.1: version 1.1.0 will not have major improvements on text/OCR. sorry.

Can you help with this problem?
