RC3: Linux: SLES11: IDE doesn't start up --- Java 7 not supported

Asked by kirubakaran

During sikuli installation in SLES11 machine, after running the script sikuli-ide.sh, initially it showed me the below libxcb warning.

libxcb: WARNING! Program tries to unlock a connection without having acquired a lock first, which indicates a programming error. There will be no further warnings about this issue.
[info] locale: en_US.

Later i found that jre1.7 has to be installed to solve this.
But even after installing jre1.7, the warning disappears. I don't see SIKULI ide starting up.

Can anyone help on this issue?

You might try with version 1.0.1
start here: http://www.sikuli.org/download.html

But with jre1.6, the IDE doesn't start up in SLES11 with rc3.

Its giving libxcb warning and ""[info] locale: en_US" and IDE doesn't start.

Could you please recommend any suggestions for solving this issue?.

Bcoz with rc1, i am getting "glibcxx 3.4.11 not found" issue.

I do not support SikuliX-1.0rc3 or earlier versions any longer with respect to installation problems on Linux.

hence see comment #1
