[Install] Why not use "install wizard" for installation in Windows

Asked by Parn Yin

I remmember that when installing Sikuli-X-1.0rc3 (r905), there is a executable file named Sikuli-X-1.0rc3 (r905)-win32.exe.
It's convenient for users of Windows to install Sikuli, especailly for those who don't have much knowledge of computer.
The way using windows command window to install (e.g. Sikuli 1.0.1) makes them confused.
So why not continue to use this way when installing new Sikuli in Windows?
If it's possible, I think more people will like Sikuli.

The linked bug # 1225871 was closed.

For those who knows computer well, using sikulixsetup.jar is perfect.
For those who don't have much knowledge of computer(they don't want to develop script but they want to use others' script by Sikuli IDE), maybe they will not like to use Sikuli.
Just like the Linux and Windows.

Please confirm, will Sikuli not create installer any more?
If it's decided, I will close this problem.

No, there will not be an installer again, because
- there is no need, since you are running the sikulixsetup.jar from the directory where you decided to store it by just double-clicking the jar file in the explorer (same as with a .exe installer)
- with version 1.1.0+ there is no longer any need, to run setup from command line

on any supported Windows or Mac system the only prerequisite is a valid Java 6+ installation.
On Linux the known situation with OpenCV and Tesseract is still valid.
