[1.0.1] How about make a all-in-one build for download

Asked by markshao

Due to the IT limitation of the company , we could not visit the dropbox from the office. Even the dropbox is not available in China. And as a mac user , I don't know much about how to compile the source code to the product on the windows platform , but I need to run the script on windows platform , hehe.

Can we make a all-in-one build on the download page , so that we can directly use after we download.

Could you give me some more information on what download sites would be available inside the company with what prerequisites and in countries like China (that seem to have some limitations, that I do not know).

What about such sites like
- MavenCentral
- GitHub
- GoogleCode
- LaunchPad
- ....

Are the restrictions on apps (like setup) trying to access these sites internally and/or are direct browser downloads blocked?

Currently the setup is a executable jar file which will open a gui panel and the user can select the option to download the specific lib files. The download link I find is from dropbox.

My Suggestion is that how about generate a all-in-one package in the lauchpad, this build is not allow the use to choose the functions he need . Just get all the functions if he download from launchpad.

I hope this may help some other people who have the same concern but may not raise the questions here ,hehe.

I understand your concern, but to find some compromise between my demands and yours ( ... and all the other people not asking), it would help me a lot, to get answers on my questions in comment #1
