How is Github's Sikuli related to Bitbucket's Sikuli?

Asked by Jerry Jaskierny

I'm unclear on the relationship between
* https://github.com/RaiMan/SikuliX-API
* https://bitbucket.org/doubleshow/sikuli-api

Can you explain the relationship between the 2 or how they differ?

--1. bitbucket sikuli-api
I am rather sure, that this is no longer valid.

It was the Sikuli Java API, that is now located at
http://code.google.com/p/sikuli-api/

refer to: http://www.sikuli.org/index.html

Sikuli Java API is a somehow feature compatible version, that is Java only (the OpenCV stuff is integrated using javacv), to SikuliX, but it is not compatible on the Java level.

--2. SikuliX-API ...
is the further development of SikuliX (latest version from the original developers was SikuliX-1.0rc3).
Hence it is the follow up of the original Sikuli/SikuliX.

Bitbucket Sikuli aka Sikuli-API is part of a students program.
It is kind of a reboot of Sikuli with restructured internal components.
When I last looked at it (about 3 months ago) it didn't include all features of SikuliX (github Sikuli), e.g. OCR works only in very special situations. Also, not all source code of Bitbucket Sikuli is available (sikuli-core.jar).

Awesome, thanks for breaking this down for me. Some the branding for the various Sikuli projects and their links are a little confusing. I appreciate it!
