Text file input to drive looping Sikuli scripts?

Looking to use the Sikuli graphical programming interface to check a list of IP addresses. Address can be in a .txt file or long list, as required. Is there a way to index into and access text file entries which are then entered into entry fields by Sikuli. Trying to stay away from writing scripts in Python environment; use links to graphical envirionment.

A grafical approach does not make any sense for such basic file input stuff.

use basic file operations.
