Mouse actions not working

None of the mouse actions are working on a browser. What could be the reason? Any suggestions or solutions would be of great help. Thanks in advance!

Windows 7
Firefox and Google chrome
I am using jre6

Normal click on desktop icons working fine but not working on the browsers
