Sikuli Autocomplete Editor

Asked by Ahmad Osman

Hello all,

I am new to Sikuli, and i was wondering if i can enable auto-complete commands in Sikuli editor.

In another meaning, Sikuli has alot of functions, and it will be helpful for the programer if the editor could suggest what he is typing.

I realize the command list in the left corner has some functions with helpful comments, but i believe there are still some missing, and from my point of view, i would prefer to see them in the editor as well.

Thanks alot for this great job, and it is a big honor if i can part of it,
Ahmad

not a feature in the IDE currently.

Feel free to post a request bug.

If you decide to use a full featured IDE like NetBeans or Eclipse, you can manage to have it (but then you have to realize your own image capture or use the Sikuli IDE only for that).

Thanks RaiMan, and Tsung for your replies.

I will post it as a request bug as you advised.

And yeah..i wana contribute, but i need first to know every thing about the tool as a user before digging in it like a developer :D.

However for the editor, i think we can use Xtext as our Sikuli editor...i can give a try on that, but as a beginner, i need to know more info about Sikuli functions, its args,..etc, as well as how to link the code to Sikuli engine.

Regards,
Ahmad
