    Im looking for a command/script to transfer my extracted text in a excel spreadsheet. Pls help me.Thanks in advance guys :)

@swethaa, I guess you can use python's csv module to read/write csv file. http://docs.python.org/library/csv.html

Ok good..thanku ..came across XLRD library this morning..another solution that I wanted to try :) thanku anyways..

For this purpose you may try http://www.repairexcel2007.excelrepairtoolbox.com

This tool is also able repair excel file and fonts, styles, colors, cells and other objects regardless the reason of damage
