what text editor/ide work-flow do you use?

Asked by eliteSKL

Let me explain...

When I first started I was using only Sikuli-IDE. But I grew up and found a better way. I learned/started using Vim as my text editor and Sikuli-IDE to run/take pictures. Well I have been wanting to move towards using Eclipse IDE with Sikuli. So after a long while and many re-reads I figured it out and got it working (I'm kind of dumb). But there are somethings missing... for example if I run an application I have to quickly minimize the Eclipse IDE. Then again in all honesty the defualt Sikuli-IDE is not fun to work in with large scripts.

The question being is how do you guys like to hack your scripts together?

For now mine still is Vim/Sikuli-IDE.

I am using Netbeans, because you can act concurrently on the Python and on the Java level and you have a debugger.

For smaller tests, verifications and capturing I usually use Sikuli IDE.

Can you help with this problem?
