Questions about 64-bit Sikuli

Hello, we recently built an automation framework using Sikuli as the image searching algorithm. It works FANTASTICALLY. The problem we face now is that we need more power. Sadly, Sikuli doesn't play nice with java 64 bit. Recently I saw OpenCV has in it's change logs that it can compile into 64 bit. We're trying that now since that is the error that's thrown, but we don't know if that will actually solve the problem. Anyone else already accomplish similar? Is there perhaps a 64 bit compatible version of Sikuli on the horizon. If not can I beg for one? ;)
