problems with Sikuli and Java

Asked by Fleischer

Hi,
I'm very fascinated by Sikuli, despite that I can't get it work^^
I installed it successfully, tried the easiest "Hello World"-Tutorial and nothing happened, even "Popup" didn't made anything. Then I read some questions here and finally deinstalled Java 5 Update 20 and installed Java Runtime Environment 6.0.21 (at least one guy did that and the problem was solved).
Same thing for me, it worked - but now I get a black screen every time I try to make a screenshot. The white cross is visible, I can pull a rectangle (of course black^^) and after that the black screen disappears and the normal silkuli-window shows up.

Obviously, the half-transparent image of my desktop and apps is missing. But why? Think it has something to do with the Java-version...

Using:
Dell Inspiron 1520
Windows 7 32 Bit
Sikuli 0.10.1

cya,
Fleischer

No, I use the Sikuli-IDE.exe . At the moment it seems the black screen problem disappeared. Since 2 hours I haven't seen it again. Everything works fine, except the hotkeys for QuickScreenshot...sometimes it is placed on a completely different key as it is said in the settings. But well, thats not that disturbing, could be a little bug^^
thanks anyway,
Fleischer
