using sikuli

Asked by janani pavithra

hi,
I am new to sikuli..
I have a basic doubt about sikuli..
Are we need to use two windows to take screen shots continuously?
If yes, say how to do that...
If one screen is enough, how to use the same screen for scripting and capturing images?
When i tried with one screen,when i entered in capture mode,everything gets greyed out..
Then how will u capture an image?

When activating the capture (from the IDE by auto-capture or using the foto-symbol or inside a script using capture() or selectRegion()), the IDE-window gets out of way and the screen is overlaid with transparent grey.
You select the rectangle area by click-hold the upper left corner and dragging to the lower right corner (same as with all the other screenshot tools). Releasing the mouse brings back the IDE with the filename of the captured image incorporated into the script at the cursor position (shown as a thumbnail of the image).

Hope it helps.
