Asked by Bijuak

Windows -7
I want to use the Print Key to do a screen capture from a different tool.

Not sure if there's a way to use the print screen key in Sikuli.

However, if you want to do screen captures of your browser and you use Firefox, download the Screengrab addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1146/

You can then use the functionality of Sikuli to then take screenshots of your browser.

I am using an application called Lightscreen, in which I need to use Print Key to do a screen capture and I am yet to find a way out.

Thanks,
Biju

Without going into the java code of Sikuli script, there is no chance in the moment to trigger the print screen key. On top when searching the web, I found that it is not trivial to do it at all.

Can Lightscreen be told to react on another key combo?

I guess you want to do something in Lightscreen with the screenshot. Is it possible to give Lightscreen an imagefile instead. So you could use Sikuli to capture the screen (filename = capture(SCREEN)) and then use the file "filename" to do with it what you want (move, rename, ...).
