cannot launch sikuli IDE in windows 7 64bits

Asked by freesky

I've read question # 99771

My system is 64-bit and my OS is windows 7 Home.
I have both 32-bit and 84-bit Java 6 installed and I tried both installer version and portable version of Sikuli.
But I still cannot launch the Sikuli IDE
Would anyone be able to help? Thanks

Hi,
I had a problem very similar to yours (question #101812), and the answer that <b>JustJake</b> provided solved my problem.
I copied his answer here:

Didn't know HTML tags wouldn't work... :)

Hi Debora, thanks for the link. I changed the .bat file. I can now launch the Sikuli IDE only if I execute the .bat file first. Is that how you open the IDE? Or should I be able to open the IDE by clickinh on the IDE directly?

I've re-read the thread #511745 and it appears that we should launch the IDE by execute the .bat file instead :-)
