Transmission values

Hi,
I am trying to calculate the transmission of a l heterojunction. When I tried different systems i am getting AVTRANS values in different ranges, few in the order of 10^-2 and in some other cases it comes more than one. Is there any relevance to the magnitude of .AVTRANS value?

The transmission describes the probability of electrons to transfer from the left electrode to the right electrode. So if there is one electron in your system, the transmission would yield the probability of that electron going from the left to right electrode. When you have multiple electrons you can decimate them into so-called "eigenchannels". See the manual for details.
