scattering region

hi,
what will happen if electrode atom layers are not included in the scattering region?
Is such type of calculation wrong?

Yes, it is wrong since the electrode is not electrostaticly bulk.

OK. Then how many layers are included in the scattering region? 1 or 2 is enough?

You have to converge how many layers you need :)
