Charge transport and spin transport

Hi,
 I am trying to calculate transport through a metal electrode and 2dimentional semiconductor. I did both charge transport and spin transport. Transmission for charge transport looks fine. But it is very very less, that is in the order of 10^-3 in the case of spin transport. Is there any possibility for such a result or anything comes wrong in my calculation?
